An Introduction

Hello and welcome to Everything Bends.

Making things has always been my passion, and being able to translate ideas into finished projects is a lot of fun.  In the past I would post my work to various forums, but I found it was difficult to keep track of everything and content would get lost over time.  I've finally learned my lesson and am starting this blog to keep my future thoughts and projects in one place.

My interests really wander all over the place, but in the end I always come back to robotics.  Robots are cool, and it is such a broad field that you can combine it with many other hobbies.  A few years ago robotics had a high barrier to entry because it required knowledge of fabrication, mechanical design, electronics, and programming.  Fortunately the maker movement and associated advances in desktop fabrication and beginner electronics have made it much more accessible.

This is currently the first and only post but I've got some really cool projects lined up so I hope you stick around.
