I'm still missing many of the parts needed for this printer, but couldn't resist trying a test fit of the aluminum plate. I don't have the correct fasteners on hand and had to print several spacers, but I'm happy to report that everything fits and the printer looks quite sharp.

I'm in the process of designing and building my own servo tubular ironless linear motor for a 3d printer.
